Abstract

Atualmente, algumas doenças mentais são tratadas como tabus na sociedade e não como transtornos que precisam de atenção. As famílias que têm que lidar com filhos com transtornos intelectuais acabam desestruturadas por falta de informações e apoio. A família cumpre parte extremamente importante no tratamento de uma criança, por isso o projeto desenvolvido tem como principal objetivo ajudar os pais a entenderem a condição de seus filhos para terem coragem de participar com afinco no tratamento e melhora dos mesmos. Sendo assim, foram selecionados oito transtornos comuns na infância: autismo, depressão, dislexia, esquizofrenia, hiperatividade, microcefalia, síndrome de Asperger e síndrome de Down. A partir desses, o conteúdo selecionado é referente a como a síndrome se manifesta, o que cada uma é, possíveis tratamentos, dicas bibliográficas sobre o assunto. As informações são passadas de forma clara e coesa, para facilitar o entendimento dos usuários, o que inclui entrevistas com profissionais em formas textuais e vídeos explicativos. O software também promove a interação entre pais, profissionais da área e clínicas, com finalidade de esclarecimento de dúvidas. Após analisar o resultado das pesquisas, concluiu-se que o projeto é necessário e será utilizado, tanto por pais e clínicas, como por usuários comuns interessados no assunto. As pesquisas também apontaram grande interesse em notícias relacionadas a transtornos intelectuais o que mostra que existem pessoas dispostas a ignorar os tabus impostos anos atrás. Para realização do projeto várias tecnologias foram utilizadas e diferentes metodologias de desenvolvimento.

Currently, some mental illnesses are treated as taboo in society and not as disorders that need attention. Families who have to deal with children with intellectual disorders end up devastated by the lack of information and support. The family fulfills an extremely important part in the treatment of a child, so the developed project has as main goal to help parents understand the condition of their children to have the courage to participate directly in the treatment and improvement of the same. Thus, it was selected eight common childhood disorders: autism, depression, dyslexia, schizophrenia, hyperactivity, microcephaly, Asperger's syndrome and Down's syndrome. From these, the selected content is referred to as the syndrome manifests itself, what each one is, possible treatments, tips of books on the subject. The information is passed in a clear and cohesive manner to facilitate understanding of the users, which includes interviews with professionals in textual forms and explanatory videos. The software also promotes interaction between parents, professionals and clinics, with the purpose of questions clarification. After analyzing the results of the researches, it was concluded that the project is needed and it will be used by both parents and clinics as by ordinary users interested in the subject. The researches also showed great interest in news related to intellectual disorders which show that there are people willing to ignore the taboos imposed years ago. For the project realization a lot of technologies had been used and also different kinds of methods of development.
