Cloud computing: conceitos e implantação

Abstract

Cloud Computing ou Computação em Nuvem nada mais é que um novo modelo de computação onde os recursos tecnológicos são fornecidos no formato de serviço e disponibilizados através da internet, residentes em grandes computadores chamados de Data Centers, com capacidades de armazenamento e processamento em larga escala. Utilizando esta tecnologia é possível criar nestes servidores centenas ou até mesmo milhares de Máquinas Virtuais capazes de efetuar a divisão de processamento de rotinas e tarefas computacionais ganhando tempo, e dinheiro com a redução dos custos com tecnologia. Esta monografia mostra desde a base fundamental desta nova tecnologia, bem como seus requisitos, vantagens e pontos a serem melhorados. Será utilizado como exemplo o sistema Eucalyptus desenvolvido pela Universidade da Califórnia - EUA, este é um Sistema Gerenciador de Nuvens que possui base Linux com Código Aberto, serão mostradas suas premissas, ferramentas e configurações. E por final conclui-se que ainda á muito a se aprender com este novo modelo, e que até aqui já se pode prever que a computação que se conhece hoje está com seus dias contados, pois a Cloud Computing promoverá a revolução computacional e com isso irá abrir espaço para uma inclusão digital mundial.

Cloud Computing is a updated computing style in which the technical resources are provided in a service format and offered through the internet, existing in powerful computers called Data Centers, with storage capacity and processing in large scales. Making usage of this technology it is possible to create in these Data Centers, hundreds or even millions of Virtual Machines capable of making the routine and tasks processing division gaining time and money reducing costs with technology. In this monography, we are going to see the primary basis of this new technology, such as it's requirements, advantages and points to be improved. We will use as example, the Eucalyptus system developed by the University of California - USA as a Cloudy Manager System using Linux with open code, along with it's premises, tools and configuration. And coming to an end, we can conclude that we still have a lot to learn with this new style, and so far we can preview that the computing we know today is with counting days as the Cloud Computing will promote the computing revolution and with that will open space to a digital inclusion achieving a worldwide level.
