| Abstract: | Esse trabalho visa explicar e exemplificar o que é um IPS, de onde surgiu, o porque usar um IPS, os tipos mais comuns, suas vantagens, desvantagens, e faz um comparativo entre os Intrusion Detection System (IDS) que são os antecessores do IPS e o IPS, exemplificando também os prós e contras de cada uma dessas duas tecnologias. This document explain and give some examples of what is the intrusion Prevention System (IPS), from where it appears, why use a IPS, the positive points, the negative points, and make a comparative between the Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) that is the precursors of IPS and the IPS, exemplifying the positive and negatives points of this both technologies. |
