Ácido tranexâmico em cosméticos no tratamento de melasma

Abstract

A cor da pele humana normal é principalmente influenciada pela produção de melanina, um pigmento castanho denso que assume aspecto enegrecido, quanto mais concentrado. O melasma é uma alteração desta pigmentação da pele, e é uma afecção que ocasiona um impacto negativo na imagem causando inclusive um isolamento social. O objetivo deste trabalho é mostrar através de uma revisão bibliográfica a ação do Ácido Tranexâmico no tratamento de melasma. Essa pesquisa é do tipo revisão bibliográfica, na qual foi realizada uma triagem de artigos, dissertações, teses, monografias sobre essa ação do ácido tranexâmico em melasma. Os resultados mostrados foram de estudo feitos nas formas de aplicações do ácido tranexâmico em uso tópico, oral, injeção intradérmica, microinjeção e microagulhamento. A conclusão apresentou-se satisfatória, eficaz e segura no tratamento do melasma, mas evidencia a necessidade de novas pesquisas e estudos científicos.

The colour of normal human skin is mainly influenced by the production of melanin, a dense brown pigment that takes on a blackish appearance, let alone concentrated. Melasma is an alteration of this pigmentation of the skin, and is an affection that causes a negative impact on the image, even causing social isolation. The objective of this work is to show through a bibliographic review the action of Tranexamic Acid in the treatment of melasma. This research is of the bibliographic review type, in which a screening of articles, dissertations, theses, monographs on this action of tranexamic acid in melasma was performed. The results shown were from a study of the forms of tranexamic acid applications in topical, oral, intradermal injection, microinjection and microneedle use. The conclusion was satisfactory, effective and safe in the treatment of melasma, but it highlights the need for further research and scientific studies.
