Alterações pulmonares em exames de tomografia computadorizada de alta resolução em pacientes com problemas respiratórios

Abstract

As doenças pulmonares estão entre os problemas mais graves na área da saúde. Por ano milhares de pessoas vão a óbito no mundo em decorrência delas. Isto se deve ao fato de o pulmão ser um órgão muito sensível aos agentes nocivos presentes no ar, além de ter o tabagismo como principal causa de risco. O diagnóstico por imagem serve como apoio nos diagnósticos dessas doenças. Dentre elas, a tomografia computadorizada de alta resolução (TCAR) é utilizada frequentemente para diagnostico de doenças pulmonares por ser muito sensível na detecção de mínimas alterações, e por isso este trabalho busca demonstrar as principais alterações pulmonares encontradas em pacientes com problemas respiratórios com o exame de TCAR. Dentre os exames para diagnóstico por imagem das doenças pulmonares a TCAR tem se mostrado um método de diagnóstico muito eficaz e sensível na detecção das alterações pulmonares que embora o achado único na TCAR seja inespecífico, a combinação de vários achados combinados com sua distribuição anatômica pode sugerir o diagnóstico mais provável.

The lung diseases are among the most serious health problems. Every year thousands of people die in the world as a result of them. This is the fact that the lung is a very sensitive organ to the harmful agents present in the air, besides smoking as the main cause of the risk. The imaging diagnostic serves as support for diagnosis of these diseases. Among them, the high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) is often used to diagnose lung disease because it is very sensitive to minor changes, and this is why this work seeks to demonstrate the main lung changes found in patients with respiratory problems with the examination of HRCT. Among the examinations for imaging diagnosis of pulmonary diseases on HRCT, it has presented a very effective and sensitive diagnostic method for detecting pulmonary alterations, that although the only found on HRCT is unspecific, a combination of the various findings combined with its anatomical distribution may be suggest the most likely diagnosis.
