Gel antisséptico com melaleuca ternifolia, calendula officinalis e camellia sinesis.

Abstract

O presente trabalho aborda como tema a antissepsia das mãos, visando que é de extrema importância que sejam elaboradas substâncias que eliminam bactérias, vírus e fungos, no cenário atual vivenciado. Com o objetivo de produzir um produto eficaz, que possua também boa aceitação da população, utlilizou-se produtos fitoterápicos para atribuir valorização ao gel antisséptico, e surgiu a hipótese de desenvolver um álcool em gel em conjunto com a Melaleuca alternifolia, a Calendula officinalis e a Camellia sinensis, em que cada planta possui características úteis e relevantes para seu manuseio. As principais propriedades fitoterápicas da Melaleuca alternifolia dizem respeito sobre suas atribuições fungicidas, viricidas, bactericidas e antissépticas, reduzindo os efeitos adversos que o uso do álcool pode acarretar aos pacientes que usufruem de álcool em gel. Dispondo de agregação quanto às propriedades organolépticas, é de grande valia a utilização da Calendula officinalis (Margarida) e Camellia sinensis (Chá verde) pelos seus atributos de cicatrização e hidratação da derme, e aroma agradável, respectivamente. Após a produção do gel antisséptico idealizado, o mesmo foi testado em laboratório e se mostrou capaz de apresentar potencial de redução bacteriana ainda maior que o do álcool em gel comum, o que comprova sua eficácia e viabilidade.

The present work deals with hand antisepsis as its theme, aiming at the fact that it is extremely important that are elaborated substances that eliminate bacteria, viruses and fungi, in the current experienced scenario. With the objective of producing an effective product, which is also well accepted by the population, phytotherapeutic products were used to add value to the antiseptic gel, the hypothesis of developing an alcohol gel together with Melaleuca alternifolia, Calendula officinalis and Camellia sinensis emerged, where each plant has useful and relevant characteristics for its handling, was thought. The main phytotherapeutic properties of Melaleuca alternifolia concern its fungicidal, viricidal, bactericidal and antiseptic attributions, reducing the adverse effects that the use of alcohol can cause to patients. With aggregation in terms of organoleptic properties, the use of Calendula officinalis (Daisy) and Camellia sinensis (Green tea) is of great value for their healing and dermal hydration attributes, and pleasant aroma, respectively. After the production of the idealized antiseptic gel, it was tested in the laboratory and proved capable of presenting an even greater bacterial reduction potential than that of common alcohol gel, which proves its effectiveness and viability.
