Maximização de lucros em pequenas propriedades de plantações de hortaliças

Abstract

O Brasil se destaca no agronegócio como um dos países com maior produção de culturas e, com isso, vem impulsionando o PIB (Produto Interno Bruto) brasileiro. Muitos produtores rurais estão se destacando dentro da agricultura familiar, isso torna a tomada de decisão crítica para muitos desses produtores que, mesmo sem recursos, buscam a diferenciação no mercado para atrair clientes e garantir sobrevivência. O objetivo desse trabalho é analisar e procurar maximizar os lucros de uma propriedade rural localizada no município de Presidente Prudente por meio da Pesquisa Operacional, pelo método simplex. A pesquisa foi realizada utilizando fundamentação teórica, com dados quantitativos. Com a utilização do Suplemento Solver do software Microsoft Excel, foi possível a definição ótima, a qual indicou uma receita de R$ 15.944,00 ao mês, em um cenário onde o produtor cultiva 84 unidades de alface, 30 unidades rúcula e 64 unidades de coentro e cebolinha. Por meio da análise de sensibilidade, verificou-se que as mudas das culturas são os recursos escassos desse sistema produtivo, logo o investimento em área ou em outras restrições não aumentaria a receita atual, somente o uma maior quantidade de mudas.

Brazil stands out in agribusiness as one of the countries with the highest production of crops and, because of that, it has been boosting the Brazilian GDP (Gross Domestic Product). Many rural producers are standing out within family farming, this makes decision making extremely important for many of these producers who, even without resources, seek excellence in the market to attract customers and ensure survival. The purpose of the present work is to analyze and seek to maximize the profits of a rural property located in the city of Presidente Prudente through Operational Research, using simplex method. The research was carried out using theoretical foundations, and quantitative data. Due to the use of Solver Supplement of Microsoft Excel software, the optimal definition was possible. It indicated a revenue of R$ 15,944.00 per month, in a scenario where the producer grows 84 units of lettuce, 30 units of arugula and 64 units of cilantro and chives. Through sensitivity analysis, it was found that the seedlings of crops are the scarce resources of this productive system, so investment in area or other restrictions would not increase current revenue, only greater number of seedlings.
