Divisão e multiplicação do meliponário na Etec Benedito Storani

Abstract

Esse artigo busca apresentar a metodologia de divisão do meliponário e a realização da mesma na ETEC Benedito Storani. Tendo como principal objetivo gerar conhecimento para os alunos sobre a importância das abelhas sem ferrão e contribuir ecologicamente com o meio ambiente, já que as abelhas inseridas realizarão a polinização das áreas que estarão presentes. Para a execução do trabalho, foram necessárias pesquisas técnicas sobre as abelhas sem ferrão pertencentes a tribo Meliponini, a fim de entender o funcionamento das colmeias e sua estrutura. Além disso foram estudados os métodos disponíveis para a divisão das colmeias, a qual foi optada a doação de favos, que consiste no método mais eficaz para a realização do projeto.

This article seeks to present the meliponary division method and its implementation at ETEC Benedito Storani. Its main objective is to generate knowledge for students about the importance of stingless bees and to contribute ecologically to the environment, since the inserted bees will carry out the pollination of the areas that are present. In the execution of the project, technical research on the stingless bees belonging to the Meliponini tribe was necessary in order to understand the functioning of the hives and their structure. In addition, the methods available for dividing the hives were studied, that opted for the donation of combs, which is the most effective method for carrying out the project.
