Escudo retrátil: Cosplay do escudo do Percy Jackson

Abstract

O projeto busca criar um escudo retrátil, ou seja, com capacidade de abrir e fechar, utilizando elementos mecânicos e eletromecânicos combinados para que assim o escudo pudesse ser utilizado como cosplay, principalmente do filme "Percy Jackson e o ladrão de raios". Focando principalmente na utilização, usando de materiais que sejam de fácil manuseio e que tenham bom custo-benefício, deixando o protótipo acessível em questão de preços e na funcionabilidade usando materiais mais leves, já que o protótipo depende muito do peso para ser usado de maneira mais efetiva. Utilizasse de um sistema elétrico elaborado para que o motor gire em ambas as direções (abrindo e fechando), e para isso é utilizado uma chave alavanca de 6 terminais para mudar a direção e um botão que garante a ativação desse sistema alimentado por uma bateria de 12v que geralmente é utilizada em motores de carros de controle remoto. O motor é o coração desse projeto, se ele não estiver funcionando perfeitamente compromete todo o resto dos processos. O outro sistema fundamental é o da rotação das placas, elas presas ao eixo são movimentadas pelo torque do motor e para não girarem livremente sem coordenação existe nela um rasgo onde vão rebites, que limitam e dão sentido correto para as placas que se movem coordenadamente e conseguem parar a rotação.

The project aims to create a retractable shield, capable of opening and closing, using mechanical and electromechanical elements combined so that the shield could be used as a cosplay, especially from the movie "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief". The focus is mainly on usability, using materials that are easy to handle and cost-effective, making the prototype affordable in terms of prices and functionality by using lighter materials, as the prototype heavily relies on weight for more effective use.An elaborate electrical system is used to make the motor rotate in both directions (opening and closing), and for this, a 6-terminal lever switch is used to change the direction, and a button ensures the activation of this system powered by a 12v battery that is commonly used in remote control car motors. The motor is the heart of this project, as if it is not functioning perfectly, it compromises all other processes. The other fundamental system is the rotation of the plates, which are attached to the shaft and moved by the motor's torque. To prevent them from rotating freely without coordination, there is a groove on them where rivets are inserted, limiting and giving the correct direction for the plates to move coordinately and be able to stop the rotation.
