Estudos da nova norma regulamentadora (NR 6) de equipamento de proteção individual

Abstract

A utilização de equipamentos de proteção individual é imprescindível no cotidiano das indústrias, o fornecimento correto desses itens está ligado diretamente ao bem-estar próprio dos colaboradores. A aplicação dos equipamentos de proteção individual traz diversos benefícios, garante a segurança, protege a saúde ocupacional e minimiza os perigos. O uso das proteções não impede acidentes, mas diminuí os riscos nos acontecimentos. Este trabalho pretende explorar a nova atualização da norma regulamentadora 6. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a nova norma regulamentadora NR 6, através da perspectiva de alguns especialistas dos serviços especializados em SST (saúde e segurança do trabalho) sobre os equipamentos de proteção individual. A metodologia utilizada usou pesquisa da literatura, de caráter exploratória, em livros, artigos acadêmicos, a norma regulamentadora brasileira e páginas eletrônicas. Em seguida, foram utilizados dois meios de estudos, o primeiro como ouvinte e participação online em uma palestra de SST, da CANPAT 2022 (Campanha Nacional de Prevenção de Acidentes no Trabalho), regida pelo Ministério do Trabalho e Previdência, com os profissionais membros: o Gestor da CANPAT, o Auditor fiscal do Trabalho, Subsecretário de Inspeção do Trabalho, o Coordenador Geral de Normatização e Registro (CRNOR), e com os tecnologistas físico, químico e o consultor de trabalho em altura, logo no início da vigência da nova NR 6. Também uma entrevista semiestruturada com uma especialista, uma engenheira de segurança do trabalho, da região de Franca – SP. Os palestrantes definiram as principais alterações da nova norma, definições dos fabricantes, que assumem a responsabilidade sobre o equipamento, os registros dos EPIs, as definições dos critérios para a seleção do EPI, a diferença entre higienização e limpeza. A organização no fornecimento do EPI, que é gratuito e deve estar adequado ao risco e em perfeito estado. A Entrevista com a Engenheira de Segurança do Trabalho, aborda que toda norma deve ser sempre atualizada, pois as profissões mudam com o passar do tempo e que isto deve ser sistêmico. Conclui-se que a grande ênfase da norma cabe ao treinamento e habilitação no uso dos Equipamentos de Proteção individuais.

The use of personal protective equipment is essential in the daily life of industries, the correct supply of these items is directly linked to the employees' own well-being. The application of individual protection equipment brings several benefits, ensures safety, protects occupational health, and minimizes dangers. The use of the protections does not prevent accidents, but diminishes the risks in the events. This paper intends to explore the new update of regulatory standard 6. The objective of this paper is to analyze the new regulatory standard NR 6, through the perspective of some specialists in OSH (occupational health and safety) services on personal protective equipment. The methodology used an exploratory literature search, in books, academic articles, the Brazilian regulatory norm and electronic pages. Then, two types of study were used, the first as a listener and online participation in an OSH lecture, of CANPAT 2022 (National Campaign for the Prevention of Accidents at Work), governed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, with the professional members: the Manager of CANPAT, the Labour Inspector, Undersecretary of Labour Inspection, the General Coordinator of Standardization and Registration (CRNOR), and with the physical and chemical technologists and the consultant for work at height, right at the beginning of the validity of the new NR 6. Also a semi-structured interview with a specialist, an occupational safety engineer, from the region of Franca - SP. The lecturers defined the main changes in the new standard, definitions of the manufacturers, who take responsibility for the equipment, the registration of PPE, the definitions of the criteria for the selection of PPE, the difference between sanitation and cleaning. The organization in the supply of PPE, which is free and must be appropriate to the risk and in perfect condition. The Interview with the Occupational Safety Engineer, addresses that every standard should always be updated, because professions change over time and that this should be systemic. It is concluded that the great emphasis of the norm is on the training and qualification of the use of Individual Protection Equipment.
