Abstract

Desde a antiguidade a humanidade tem tido o direito de construir seres que imitassem a vida orgânica; Embora tenhamos iniciado com tentativas muito limitada, hoje a ciência alcança alguns feitos no mínimo interessantes. O uso da robótica vem se tornando cada vez mais frequente o robô algo comum em nossa sociedade, inclusive fora do meio industrial. Em diversas áreas ela vem contribuindo com grandes inovações que ate a pouco tempo seriam impossíveis.. Existem então a necessidade de sabermos interagir e aproveitar os recursos e possibilidades de um ambiente cada vez mais automatizado em que estamos vivendo. Hoje ja existe farto material de pesquisa sobre o assunto e componentes de baixo custo de forma que estudantes possam se iniciar nesta área e crescer profissionalmente. Mas para aproveitar estas facilidades existentes na atualidade , ainda é necessário conhecer os componentes que forma esses dispositivos eletrônicos, quais as suas possibilidades e suas limitações. Abordaremos aqui , não a análise do desenvolvimento de um único robô, mas os recursos disponíveis e os meios dos quais podemos contar atualmente e as tendências do mercado no futuro próximo , através da análise do próprio comercio de robôs e de resultados de recentes pesquisas nesta área.

The use of robotics is becoming more and more frequent – the robot is something common in our society, even outside the industrial environment. In several areas it has been contributing with great innovations that until a short time ago would have been impossible. Therefore, there is a need for us to know how to interact and take advantage of the resources and possibilities of an increasingly automated environment in which we are living. Today there is already abundant research material on the subject and low-cost components so that students can start in this area and grow professionally. But to take advantage of these existing facilities today, it is still necessary to know the components that make up these electronic devices, what are their possibilities and their limitations. We will address here, not the analysis of the development of a single robot, but the resources available and the means we can currently count on and market trends in the near future, through the analysis of the robot trade itself and the results of recent research in this area.
