Lean manufacturing na logística

Abstract

O objetivo geral deste trabalho é descrever como utilizar o conceito de lean manufacturing para otimizar a logística, enfatizando a redução de desperdícios no processo desde o recebimento até o embarque. Devido à sua natureza dinâmica, o departamento de logística tende a facilmente acumular gargalos de resíduos por meio de ações simples, como mau posicionamento da carga, movimentação excessiva de volume, tempo de espera muito longo do processo e outros fatores. Embora a origem dos conceitos enxutos seja a melhoria da produtividade no ambiente de manufatura, com o desenvolvimento do mercado, os conceitos enxutos passaram a ser aplicados nos mais diversos campos. O método utilizado é a busca na literatura por meio de livros e artigos científicos publicados.

The general objective of this work is to describe how to use the concept of lean manufactury to optimize logistics, emphasizing the reduction of waste in the process from receipt to shipment. In spite of its dynamic nature, the logistics department tends to easily accumulate waste bottlenecks through simple actions, such as poor load positioning, excessive volume handling, very long waiting times in the process and other factors. Although the origin of lean concepts is an improvement in productivity in the manufacturing environment, with the development of the market, lean concepts have come to be identified in the most diverse fields. The method used is to search the literature through books and published scientific articles.
