Têxteis musealizados: os desafios da conservação preventiva

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar os objetos têxteis musealizados em suas diversas classes, contribuindo para um maior conhecimento dos materiais e estruturas que os constituem. Deste modo, se possa ter uma maior compreensão em como deve ser feita a salvaguarda e a conservação preventiva de tais objetos musealizados, mesmo que não se consiga prever o tempo real de vida desses objetos. Esse estudo, veio do trabalho realizado pela professora e orientadora, e por mim no Museu Casa da Hera, onde foi verificado a necessidade de realização de estudos que possam diretamente auxiliar em proteger a memória têxtil de nossa cultura. A metodologia que será utilizada é a pesquisa bibliográfica. Para solucionar tais questões, foi sugerido que periodicamente se faça a limpeza do espaço destinado a proteção, e se houver janelas neste espaço que se abra para ser feita usada a ventilação natural, e também a abertura das caixas, onde se encontram os objetos, para uma inspeção e assim se averigue a necessidade ou não de higienização do objeto.

The objective of this work is to present the textile objects in museums in their different classes, contributing to a greater knowledge of the materials and structures that constitute them. In this way, one can have a greater understanding of how the safeguarding and preventive conservation of such museum objects should be carried out, even if it is not possible to predict the real-life span of these objects. This study came from the work carried out by the teacher and advisor, and by me at the Casa da Hera Museum, where the need to carry out studies that could directly help protect the textile memory of our culture was verified. The methodology that will be used is the bibliographical research. To resolve such issues, it was suggested that the space intended for protection be periodically cleaned, and if there are windows in this space, that they be opened to allow natural ventilation, and also the opening of the boxes, where the objects are located, to an inspection and thus determine whether or not the object needs to be cleaned.
