Tokens não-fungíveis: principais formas de aplicação, controvérsias e transformações

Abstract

Este estudo tem como objetivo geral abordar de forma aprofundada o que são tokens não-fungíveis, sua origem, seus pontos positivos e negativos e as perspectivas para o futuro. Os objetivos específicos são intensificar as discussões sobre esta nova tecnologia e as consequências de sua popularização e expandir a discussão e a abordagem acadêmica sobre tokens não-fungíveis, de forma a considerar a relação do surgimento desta tecnologia com o mercado de consumo, o mundo das artes digitais e a interação das gerações mais recentes com esta tecnologia. As principais motivações para realizar um trabalho acadêmico sobre os Tokens Não-Fungíveis foram: reduzir a relativa escassez de artigos e trabalhos acadêmicos em língua portuguesa abordando o tema (valendo ressaltar que a maioria dos artigos criados é recente, tendo surgido em maior número a partir de 2021); aprender mais sobre esta tecnologia e compreender atenção que ela passou a receber nos últimos anos, dividindo opiniões; apresentar os impactos culturais, econômicos e digitais que a envolvem. As metodologias de pesquisa adotadas para a realização deste trabalho são por meio de: revisão bibliográfica, com base em textos acadêmicos já existentes sobre o tema, atualizando e complementando algumas informações; na pesquisa documental, visando deduzir e abordar as principais novidades e assuntos relacionados à tecnologia dos tokens não-fungíveis e analisar as principais notícias e relatórios explicativos sobre o tema.

This study has the general objective of approaching in depth what non-fungible tokens are, their origin, their positive and negative points and the perspectives for the future. The specific objectives are to intensify the discussions about this new technology and the consequences of its popularization and to expand the discussion and the academic approach on non-fungible tokens, in order to consider the relationship between the emergence of this technology and the consumer market, the world of digital arts and the interaction of the most recent generations with this technology. The main motivations for carrying out an academic work on Non-Fungible Tokens were: to reduce the relative scarcity of articles and academic works in Portuguese addressing the subject (it is worth mentioning that most of the articles created are recent, having appeared in greater numbers from of 2021); learn more about this technology and understand the attention it has received in recent years, dividing opinions; present the cultural, economic and digital impacts that surround it. The research methodologies adopted for carrying out this work are through: bibliographic review, based on existing academic texts on the subject, updating and complementing some information; in documentary research, aiming to deduce and address the main news and issues related to the technology of non-fungible tokens and analyze the main news and explanatory reports on the subject.
