dc.description.abstractResumo: Esta pesquisa trata de um tema pertinente a área logística, a prestação de servços públicos de transporte coletivo, dentre eles o transporte aquaviário de passageiros via balsa, na travessia entre Ilhabela- São Sebastião (SP). E tem por objetivo, descrever e pesquisar a dinâmica desse transporte atualmente, além de verificar se as normas de segurança para com os usuários e marinheiros estão sendo utilizadas, bem como principalmente problemas encontrados. Toda a pesquisa deste artigo foi feita e consulta a documentos pertinentes ao assunto. Pretende-se ainda, apresentar algumas propostas e soluções aos problemas encontrados, apontar outro modelo onde ocorre travessia semelhante, e correlacionar a eficiência e eficácia entre esses modelos. A relevância do trabalho está na necessidade de apresentação de propostas que possam minimizar os problemas na travessia, dificuldades essas, encontradas diariamente por todos que dependem das balsas para se locomoverem, haja visto que é o único meio de deslocamento para moradores e turistas. Percebe-se que existem soluções muito assertivas adotadas em outros modelos para os problemas encontrados na travessia de balsas entre São Sebastião e Ilhabela, que podem ser adotadas e adaptadas para a realidade local. And it aims to describe and research the dynamics of this transport today, in addition to checking whether the safety standards for users and sailors are being used as well as mainly problems encountered. All the research in this article was done through observations, and consultation of documents pertinent to the subject. It is also intended to present some proposals and solutions to the problems encountered, to point out another model where similar crossing occurs, and to correlate the efficiency and effectiveness of these models. The relevance of the work is in the need to submit proposals that can minimize the problems in the crossing, difficulties that are found daily by all who depend on the rafts to get around, since it is the only means of Displacement for locals and tourists. It is understood that there are very assertive solutions adopted in other models for the problems encountered in the the local reality. Keywords: Ferry Boat, Sailors, NORMAM, Pedestrian, Security.
