A introdução de aparelhos eletrônicos no auxílio da educação de crianças

Abstract

O desenvolvimento tecnológico é a marca do século XXI. Hoje em dia, as pessoas utilizam os meios digitais para realizar afazeres de seu cotidiano, já não sendo mais necessária a presença física para muitas dessas tarefas. A partir de casa, resolvem-se assuntos que outrora eram burocráticos e demorados, o que muitas vezes significava longas filas de espera ou mesmo falta de vagas para atendimento. Tais mudanças necessitam chegar às escolas, visto que os jovens de hoje já nasceram em um mundo digital, não conseguindo se desvincular dele ao utilizar livros ou copiar manualmente os ensinamentos do professor. No presente trabalho, o autor listou cinco aplicativos que considera úteis para o auxílio aos professores e alunos no ambiente escolar e fora dele. Procedeu-se também a uma investigação realizada na cidade de Florianópolis/SC, em que foi aplicado um questionário a um grupo de dez pais, totalizando vinte filhos em idade escolar, em que aqueles foram questionados sobre seu pensamento acerca da utilização de meios digitais para a educação. Outro questionário inquiriu cinco professores, indagando se eles utilizam meios tecnológicos durante suas aulas e como os alunos se portam perante essa utilização. Os resultados foram demonstrados por meio de gráficos que traçam um perfil tanto dos alunos quanto dos professores. Conclui-se que existem tecnologias digitais adequadas à educação, que necessitam, porém, de maior divulgação quanto à sua existência para que sejam usadas por um maior número de pessoas.

Technological development is the feature of the 21st century. Nowadays, people use digital means to perform their daily chores, and physical presence is no longer necessary for many of these tasks. From home, issues that were once bureaucratic and time-consuming are resolved, which often meant long queues or even lack of places to be served. Such changes need to come to schools, as young people today have been born into digital world, unable to disassociate themselves from it when using books or manually copying the teacher's teachings. In the present work, the author lists five applications that he considers useful for helping teachers and students in and outside the school environment. An investigation was also carried out in the city of Florianópolis / SC, in which a questionnaire was applied to a group of ten parents, totaling twenty children of school age, in which they were questioned about their thinking about the use of digital means for the education. Another questionnaire inquired five teachers, asking if they were using technological means during their classes and how the students behave in the face of such use. The results were demonstrated through charts that outline the profile of both students and teachers. It concludes that there are digital technologies suitable for education, but they need to be more widely disseminated in order to be used by more people.
