Entre a vida e a perda: logística no transporte de órgãos no abc paulista.

Abstract

A logística no transporte de órgãos desempenha um papel fundamental para o sucesso dos transplantes, uma vez que os órgãos possuem tempo limitado de preservação fora do corpo humano. Este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar os desafios logísticos envolvidos no transporte de órgãos na região do ABC Paulista, identificando fatores que podem comprometer a eficiência do processo e propondo medidas para reduzir atrasos, perdas e aumentar a efetividade da cadeia logística de transplantes. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como qualitativa, descritiva, bibliográfica e documental, fundamentada em artigos científicos, legislações, documentos oficiais e publicações da Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (ANVISA), do Ministério da Saúde e da Associação Brasileira de Transplante de Órgãos (ABTO). Os resultados demonstraram que problemas relacionados ao trânsito intenso, falhas na comunicação entre instituições, limitações da infraestrutura logística e dependência do transporte rodoviário podem comprometer a viabilidade dos órgãos e reduzir as chances de sucesso dos transplantes. Observou-se ainda que a utilização de tecnologias de rastreamento em tempo real, monitoramento contínuo da temperatura e integração entre hospitais e centrais de transplantes contribui para aumentar a eficiência operacional e a segurança durante o transporte. Além disso, verificou-se que a organização e o planejamento logístico exercem papel essencial para que todas as etapas ocorram dentro do tempo adequado, desde a captação até a entrega do órgão ao hospital transplantador. Com base na análise realizada, propõe-se a implantação de medidas voltadas ao fortalecimento da logística regional, incluindo a ampliação da integração entre hospitais do ABC Paulista, o monitoramento logístico em tempo real, a definição de rotas prioritárias para transporte de órgãos e investimentos em infraestrutura e tecnologia, visando reduzir perdas e aumentar a eficiência do sistema transplantador. Conclui-se que a logística constitui um elemento estratégico para a preservação dos órgãos e para a ampliação do número de transplantes realizados, contribuindo diretamente para salvar vidas e melhorar a eficiência do atendimento aos pacientes que aguardam na fila de transplantes.

Logistics in organ transportation plays a fundamental role in the success of transplantation procedures, as organs have a limited preservation time outside the human body. This study aimed to analyze the logistical challenges involved in organ transportation in the ABC Paulista region, identifying factors that may compromise the efficiency of the process and proposing measures to reduce delays and losses while increasing the effectiveness of the transplant logistics chain. The research is characterized as qualitative, descriptive, bibliographic, and documentary, based on scientific articles, legislation, official documents, and publications from the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA), the Ministry of Health, and the Brazilian Association for Organ Transplantation (ABTO). The results demonstrated that issues related to heavy traffic, communication failures between institutions, limitations in logistical infrastructure, and dependence on road transportation may compromise organ viability and reduce the chances of successful transplantation. Furthermore, the use of real-time tracking technologies, continuous temperature monitoring, and integration between hospitals and transplant centers contributes to improving operational efficiency and ensuring greater safety during transportation. In addition, the study found that logistical organization and planning play an essential role in ensuring that all stages are completed within the appropriate timeframe, from organ procurement to delivery to the transplant hospital. Based on the analysis, this study proposes the implementation of measures aimed at strengthening regional logistics, including greater integration among hospitals in the ABC Paulista region, real-time logistics monitoring, the establishment of priority routes for organ transportation, and investments in infrastructure and technology to reduce losses and improve the efficiency of the transplant system. It is concluded that logistics constitutes a strategic element in preserving organ viability and increasing the number of transplant procedures performed, directly contributing to saving lives and improving the quality and efficiency of care provided to patients awaiting transplantation.
