Segurança do trabalho aplicada na atividade de funilaria e pintura

Abstract

A gestão de riscos ocupacionais em funilarias de pequeno e médio porte, um setor de grande relevância econômica, constitui um desafio urgente devido à complexidade de processos como solda, lixamento e pintura. O objetivo central deste trabalho é investigar a discrepância entre a teoria normativa e a prática nessas oficinas, especificamente na Bueno’s Car, visando promover a saúde e segurança dos colaboradores por meio da aplicação prática dos princípios do Gerenciamento de Riscos Ocupacionais (GRO). A pesquisa diagnosticou que a principal vulnerabilidade reside na ausência de um Programa de Gerenciamento de Riscos (PGR) estruturado, conforme estabelece a NR-01. A análise detalhada da funilaria revelou que os Riscos Químicos, oriundos da exposição a solventes e isocianatos, representam o perigo mais severo e insidioso à saúde a longo prazo. Assim, propõe-se um Plano de Ação focado em medidas de engenharia (melhoria da ventilação, adequação do layout) e administrativas para a redução imediata de incidentes, concluindo que a gestão de riscos é um investimento estratégico fundamental para a sustentabilidade e proteção da vida no segmento.

Occupational risk management in small and medium-sized body shops, a sector of great economic significance, is an urgent challenge due to the complexity of processes such as welding, sanding, and painting. The main objective of this work is to investigate the discrepancy between normative theory and practice in these workshops, specifically at Bueno’s Car, aiming to promote the health and safety of employees through the practical application of Occupational Risk Management (ORM) principles. The research identified that the main vulnerability lies in the absence of a structured Risk Management Program (RMP), as established by NR-01. A detailed analysis of the body shop revealed that Chemical Risks, arising from exposure to solvents and isocyanates, represent the most severe and insidious long-term health hazard. Thus, an Action Plan is proposed focusing on engineering measures (improving ventilation, adapting the layout) and administrative measures to immediately reduce incidents, concluding that risk management is a fundamental strategic investment for sustainability and the protection of life in the sector.
