Logistica reversa: eficiência e sustentabilidade no contexto hospitalar

Abstract

A logística reversa destaca se como uma prática essencial no contexto hospitalar promovendo a eficiência operacional e a sustentabilidade ambiental. Com a relevância do tema justificado pela crescente geração de resíduos hospitalares e a necessidade de minimizar impactos negativos ao meio ambiente e a saúde pública, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a aplicação de práticas de logística reversa e instituições de saúde, avaliando sua contribuição na sustentabilidade e na eficiência de gestão de resíduos. A metodologia adotada foi de caráter investigativo e descritivo, combinando pesquisas bibliográficas em fontes acadêmicas e analisando os estudos de casos em hospitais de grande porte no Estado de São Paulo. Os resultados indicaram que a implementação da logística reversa contribuiu para a redução significativas de resíduos descartados inadequadamente, promovendo a reciclagem e a reutilização de materiais, melhorias econômicas e na imagem da instituição das organizações. Conclui que a logística reversa no ambiente hospitalar é uma ferramenta estratégica para o equilíbrio entre eficiência operacional e responsabilidade socioambiental. Dessa forma, os desafios relacionados a capacitação de equipe e adequação normativa ainda precisa ser superado para a ampliação de sua adoção.

The results indicated that the implementation of reverse logistic contributed to a significant reduction in improperly discarded waste, promoting the recycling and reuse of materials, economic improvements in the image of the institutions of the organizations. It is concluded that reverse logistic in the hospital environment is a strategic tool for balancing operational efficiency and socio-environmental responsibly.
