A influência da cultura no empreendedorismo da comunidade trentina de Piracicaba

Abstract

Este estudo focou em verificar a influência da cultura no empreendedorismo na comunidade trentina de Piracicaba, que é formada basicamente pelos Bairros de Santa Olímpia e Santana, fundados respectivamente em 1892 e 1893, por imigrantes que aportaram no Brasil no final do século XIX, oriundos de Trento, Província situada no norte da Itália. A bagagem cultural dessas comunidades é citada como referência pela preservação da cultura trazida do local de origem e como esta influência no dia a dia dessas comunidades até os dias atuais, tanto que já serviram de base para diversos estudos e pesquisas para dissertações e teses em Universidades como USP, UNICAMP, UNIMEP e UFRS, além de terem sido temas de livros publicados no Brasil e na Itália. O objetivo deste trabalho foi investigar a influência na cultura trazida pelos antepassados na formação e desenvolvimento das comunidades referenciadas, que nasceram de uma imigração por necessidade, de grave penúria e que, além dos percalços enfrentados, foram fortemente influenciados pela religiosidade clerical dos Frades Capuchinos de Trento desde que aportaram em Piracicaba em 1890 e, mesmo assim, conseguiram desenvolver uma visão empreendedora, o que permitiu um avanço socioeconômico considerável e mensurável para a maioria de seus membros, nessa caminhada de 124 anos de sua existência. A pesquisa bibliográfica nos remeteu a livros, artigos científicos, sites oficiais, órgãos governamentais, revistas, jornais, dissertações e teses, sobre o tema que alicerçaram nosso estudo. Optamos ainda, para demonstrar a visão empreendedora dessas comunidades, por uma pesquisa de campo, de caráter qualitativo, cuja abordagem de coleta de dados obedeceu a proposta baseada na investigação narrativa, através de entrevistas audiogravadas com 11 elementos escolhidos aleatoriamente que, na percepção de Clandinin e Connelly (2011) consistiu em interpretar a dimensão humana e pessoal de cada um, através de elementos de esquemas fechados, recortados e quantificáveis, de forma a embasar o presente estudo. O roteiro das entrevistas constou de questões semiestruturadas, que para Minayo (2016) é a alavanca que impulsiona o pesquisador a encontrar respostas àquele ponto a ser esclarecido; as vezes uma indagação ou algo que o incomoda. E o resultado decorrente desses pensamentos, normalmente se liga a conhecimentos pré-existentes ou carece da formulação de novos parâmetros. A análise das entrevistas, foram feitas a partir da leitura e interpretação do material transcrito, que possibilitou a associação das falas dos entrevistados à luz da teoria pesquisada e serviu para fundamentar o resultado do presente estudo.

This study focused on the influence of culture on entrepreneurship in the Trentine community of Piracicaba, which is formed basically by the neighborhoods of Santa Olímpia and Santana, founded respectively in 1892 and 1893, by immigrants who contributed in Brazil in the late nineteenth century, coming from Trento, Province located in the north of Italy. The cultural baggage of these communities is cited as a reference for the preservation of the culture brought from the place of origin and how this influence in the day to day of these communities until the present day, so much that already they have served as base for diverse studies and researches for dissertations and theses in Universities such as USP, UNICAMP, UNIMEP and UFRS, in addition to being the subject of books published in Brazil and Italy. The objective of this study was to investigate the influence of the ancestors' culture on the formation and development of the referenced communities, which were born of an immigration of necessity and of severe shortage and which, besides the mishaps, were strongly influenced by the clerical religiosity of the Capuchin Friars of Trento since joining Piracicaba in 1890, and yet they managed to develop an entrepreneurial vision, which allowed a considerable and measurable socioeconomic advance for most of its members in this 124-year journey of its existence. The bibliographical research referred us to books, scientific articles, official websites, government agencies, magazines, newspapers, dissertations and theses, on the theme that underpinned our study. We also chose to demonstrate the entrepreneurial vision of these communities by a qualitative field research, whose approach to data collection obeyed the proposal based on narrative research, through interviews audiographed with 11 randomly chosen elements that, in the perception of Clandinin and Connelly (2011) consisted in interpreting the human and personal dimension of each one, through elements of closed, cut and quantifiable schemes, in order to base the present study. The script of the interviews consisted of semi-structured questions, which for Minayo (2016) is the lever that drives the researcher to find answers to that point to be clarified; sometimes an inquiry or something that bothers you. And the result of these thoughts is usually linked to pre-existing knowledge or lacks the formulation of new parameters. The analysis of the interviews was made through the reading and interpretation of the transcribed material, which allowed the association of the interviewees' speeches in the light of the researched theory and served to justify the result of the present study
