Gestão de resíduos sólidos recicláveis pós-consumo do município de Elias Fausto/SP

Abstract

A sustentabilidade é um termo extremamente citado atualmente em todos os setores, pois trata-se do conceito de se preservar o meio ambiente, usando de forma consciente os recursos naturais finitos, utilizando-se do desenvolvimento sustentável como ferramenta para atender as necessidades dos seres humanos. A reciclagem de materiais, permite com que o desenvolvimento sustentável seja aplicado de forma eficiente, mas para isso ocorra, os poderes públicos e privados devem agir, com o apoio da população. Baseando-se nesse conceito, o presente trabalho trouxe à tona as dificuldades enfrentadas no processo e coleta de material reciclável no município de Elias Fausto/SP, com os objetivos de analisar a situação da gestão de recursos sólidos recicláveis pós consumo na cidade e a destinação correta dos mesmos, além de mapear e analisar as condições de gestão dos recursos sólidos, utilizando-se da metodologia de pesquisa exploratória em documentos oficiais, entrevista com o gestor municipal e o levantamento de campo. Os resultados do trabalho apontaram a ausência do cumprimento de algumas das metas estabelecidas pelo PMGIRS do município, tanto pela prefeitura devido à falta de verba, quanto pela população que ainda não está conscientizada sobre a necessidade de se fazer a coleta seletiva, reciclagem e logística reversa dos materiais. Para finalizar, foram apresentados alternativas para conscientizar a população e fazer efetivamente a coleta seletiva no município.

Recycling materials enables sustainable development to be implemented efficiently, but for this to happen, public and private authorities must act with the support of the population. Based on this concept, the present work brought to light the difficulties faced in the process and collection of recyclable material in the municipality of Elias Fausto / SP, with the objective of analyzing the situation of post-consumption recyclable solid resource management in the city and the destination. and to map and analyze the conditions of solid resource management, using the exploratory research methodology in official documents, interview with the municipal manager and the field survey. The results of the work indicated the lack of fulfillment of some of the goals set by the municipality's PMGIRS, both by the City Hall due to lack of funds, as well as by the population that is not yet aware of the need for selective collection, recycling and reverse logistics. of materials. Finally, alternatives were presented to raise awareness and effectively make selective collection in the municipality.
