Desafios na eficiência e eficácia das medidas de Segurança da Informação em ambientes de trabalho remoto no contexto brasileiro

Abstract

O avanço das tecnologias de informação e comunicação, aliado ao crescimento do trabalho remoto, trouxe desafios significativos para a segurança da informação, especialmente com o uso de dispositivos pessoais como smartphones e laptops. A necessidade de proteger dados empresariais fora do ambiente controlado do escritório tem gerado preocupações devido ao aumento de ameaças como vazamento de informações confidenciais e ataques de malware. Este estudo é justificado pela urgência em entender e mitigar esses riscos, garantindo a integridade, confidencialidade e disponibilidade das informações, essenciais para a continuidade dos negócios. A pergunta da pesquisa é: quais são os principais fatores que limitam eficiência e eficácia das medidas de segurança da informação em ambientes de trabalho remoto no Brasil e como esses desafios podem ser superados para garantir uma proteção efetiva das informações no ambiente empresarial? O objetivo é identificar e analisar essas ameaças e propor estratégias eficazes para mitigá-las. A metodologia envolve uma revisão da literatura, consultando artigos científicos, relatórios de segurança e fontes confiáveis na internet. Os resultados indicam que as principais ameaças incluem o vazamento de informações confidenciais através do uso de dispositivos pessoais, que abrangem vulnerabilidades devido à falta de atualizações e proteção adequada. Políticas de BYOD bem definidas, treinamentos contínuos de segurança e o uso de soluções robustas, como firewall, infraestrutura de chave pública e técnicas de data wiping, são essenciais para mitigar esses riscos.

The advance of information and communication technologies, coupled with the growth of remote working, has brought significant challenges for information security, especially with the use of personal devices such as smartphones and laptops. The need to protect corporate data outside the controlled office environment has raised concerns due to the increase in threats such as the leakage of confidential information and malware attacks. This study is justified by the urgency of understanding and mitigating these risks, guaranteeing the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information, which is essential for business continuity. The research question is: what are the main factors that limit the efficiency and effectiveness of information security measures in remote working environments in Brazil and how can these challenges be overcome to ensure effective protection of information in the business environment? The aim is to identify and analyze these threats and propose effective strategies to mitigate them. The methodology involves a literature review, consulting scientific articles, security reports and reliable sources on the internet. The results indicate that the main threats include the leakage of confidential information through the use of personal devices, which encompass vulnerabilities due to a lack of updates and adequate protection. Well-defined BYOD policies, continuous security training and the use of robust solutions such as firewall, public key infrastructure and data wiping techniques are essential to mitigate these risks.
