Abstract

Os modais de transportes exercem uma grande influencia sobre a logística, sendo indispensável para o fechamento do ciclo.Com toda a modernização os modais foram se aprimorando com o passar dos anos, tornando-se instrumento de grande estudo pelas organizações, onde estas procuram a melhor maneira possível para realizar suas entregas com o menor custo. Dentre todos os modais o Rodoviário é o quem tem maior destaque dentro do cenário Nacional por ser o mais prático e rápido, mas porem, um dos mais caros.Já o ferroviário tem um custo baixo mas a malha ferroviária esta sucateada ,o que trás problemas para seus usuários. O Hidroviário transporta um grande volume de cargas, mas a sua deficiência esta na geografia territorial onde há muitos rios encaichoerados dificultado a expansão das hidrovias.O Dutoviário tem suas exceções, pode trabalhar 24 horas por dia, sete dias da semana, sem a presença humana, porém apenas com produtos específicos e baixa velocidade de transporte, não atendendo assim todos modelos de empresas. Já o Aéreo é ideal para entregas urgentes, atendendo o cliente no menor tempo com uma maior distancia, porém o seu custo é o mais elevados de todos os modais, sendo responsável por apenas 4% dentro da cadeia de transportes.Dentro do estudo de caso feito foi constatado vários problemas.
