The present work, whose theme is "MosquitoGeo", has been a collaborative science software for registration and analysis of geographic and seasonal occurrences of different mosquitoes in the Brazilian region. It aims to enable the registration of occurrences of mosquitoes in geographic locations through a mobile application. Therefore, the participants/users will be elementary school students who might take part in the research through a collaborative method between students and researchers, who in turn will be in control of incidences in order to filter information such as the types and species of mosquitoes and whether they are likely to transmit diseases. Consequently, possible regional foci can definitely be identified. Such theme has been chosen on account of an order this work received from IPÊ - Institute for Ecological Research, constituting the idea that researchers will analyze the content collected by the software and will result in a future database that might be useful for the society. Finally, this work has aimed to aware society in general about the importance of their contribution to public health, to demonstrate the value of scientific investigation and hopefully create ways to include young people aged from 12 to 17 in field research.
