Gestão ambiental com enfoque na gestão de resíduos sólidos

Abstract

Com o avanço histórico da civilização, o homem passou a explorar os recursos naturais no planeta, até que se percebeu a possibilidade da escassez desta matéria prima. O aumento do número de habitantes no planeta, sobretudo, sua concentração das populações nas cidades, agregado à globalização dos efeitos ambientais negativos, gerados pelas atividades produtivas, vem agravar a problemática dos resíduos sólidos. Frente a esta realidade, objetivou-se com este trabalho estudar e analisar a geração de resíduos sólidos e seu destino, no contexto da gestão ambiental. Para tanto, utilizou-se da pesquisa bibliográfica, se na qual se pesquisaram livros, revistas, periódicos impressos e digitais, visando a uma abordagem qualitativa da pesquisa. Desta forma, viu-se a necessidade da gestão, ou seja, um procedimento estratégico nos processos industriais, concernente ao tratamento técnico dos resíduos sólidos, ou seja, geração, descarte, coleta, tratamento e disposição final. Assim, pode-se afirmar que, a partir de uma análise global, esta pesquisa contribui para uma implantação de planejamento da disposição final de resíduos sólidos na indústria local, por meio da gestão do meio ambiente, notadamente a produção mais limpa

With the historic breakthrough of civilization, the man went on to exploit natural resources on the planet, until they realized the possibility of shortages of this raw material. The increase in the number of inhabitants on the planet, above all, its concentration of populations in cities, added to the globalization of negative environmental effects, generated by the productive activities, it aggravates the problem of solid waste. Facing this reality, the objective of this work is to study and analyze the generation of solid waste and his destiny, in the context of environmental management. To this end, we used the bibliographical research, where he researched since book, magazine printed, until online articles, seeking a qualitative research approach. In this way, we saw the need of management, i.e., a strategic procedure in industrial processes, concerning the technical treatment of solid waste, namely generation, disposal, collection, treatment and final disposal. Thus, we can affirm that, from a global analysis, this research contributes to a deployment of planning ahead to final disposal of solid waste in local industry, through the management of the environment, notably the cleaner production.
