Afinalidadedo projeto éproporcionar aosalunos daescolatécnica estadualde Cruzeiro umamelhoraprendizagemesegurançaemaulaspráticasde processosdefabricação,eumamelhorcondiçãodetrabalhonamesma.O tornoestálocalizadonaoficinamecânicadaescola, apartirdissodesenvolveu-seoplanoparapossíveismanutenções emoutrostornosdomesmomodelo.Otornoéumamáquina ferramentautilizadanamecânicaparausinarpeçasgeométricascom superfícieemrevolução,atravésdaretiradadematerialefetuadaporumaou maisferramentasdecorte(bits).Asmanutençõesdotornosãorealizadas nasseguintesetapas:desmontagem,limpeza,pintura,reparodepeçasda máquina,remontagemdotorno,lubrificaçãodoscomponentes,testese revisão. Algumasferramentaseprodutossãoutilizadosparaarealizaçãodo trabalho tais como:chaves de aperto para desmontageme montagem do torno, talha,produtosquímicosdelimpeza,desengraxanteeesmaltesintéticopara pintura da máquina.

The purpose of the project is to provide students from the state technical school in Cruzeiro with better learning and safety in practical classes on manufacturing processes, and better working conditions there. The lathe is located in the school's mechanical workshop, from which a plan for possible maintenance on other lathes of the same model was developed. The lathe is a machine tool used in mechanics to machine geometric parts with a surface in revolution, through the removal of material carried out by one or more cutting tools (bits). Lathe maintenance is carried out in the following steps: disassembly, cleaning, painting, repair of machine parts, lathe reassembly, component lubrication, testing and overhaul. Some tools and products are used to carry out the work, such as: tightening wrenches for disassembly and assembly of the lathe, hoist, cleaning chemicals, degreasing agent and synthetic enamel for painting the machine.
