Construção de um abrigo coletivo com sombrite no setor da bovinocultura de leite da ETEC BeSt

Abstract

A criação de bezerras deve ser considerada como uma das principais atividades na pecuária leiteira, por isso, deve se investir em boas instalações e no Bem-Estar Animal. As instalações podem ser simples, no entanto, devem possuir requisitos primordiais como: ambiente seco, ventilado, limpo, confortável e um espaço de isolamento (para detecção precoce de doenças). Para atender o grau de bem-estar adequado aos animais, faz-se necessário um ambiente no qual, promova o mínimo de conforto térmico e físico, além de priorizar boas condições de sanidade. Diante disso, visando em ofertar um sistema de fácil construção, de forma que os animais se beneficiem de interações sociais em grupo, obtendo conforto e saúde, o objetivo deste trabalho foi construir um abrigo coletivo com sombrite para as bezerras em fase de cria e recria, que se adeque ao espaço de criação, uma vez que o local é desprovido de sombra. A construção foi realizada no setor da bovinocultura de leite da Escola Técnica Benedito Storani, do instituto Centro Paulo Souza, localizada no munícipio de Jundiaí, no interior do estado de São Paulo, no período de março a novembro de 2021. O local onde foi construído, agora conta com sombra adequada para um melhor desenvolvimento e conforto dos animais que ali vivem.

The rearing of heifers must be considered as one of the main activities in dairy farming, therefore, investment must be made in good facilities and in Animal Welfare. Installations can be simple, however, they must have primary requirements such as: dry, ventilated, clean, comfortable environment and an isolation space (for early detection of diseases). To meet the appropriate level of well-being for the animals, an environment in which the minimum thermal and physical comfort is promoted is necessary, in addition to prioritizing good health conditions. Therefore, aiming to offer an easy-to-build system, so that the animals benefit from social interactions in groups, obtaining comfort and health, the objective of this work was to build a collective shelter with shade for calves in the breeding and rearing phase, which suits the creation space, since the place is devoid of shade. The construction was carried out in the dairy sector of the Benedito Storani Technical School, of the Instituto Centro Paulo Souza, located in the municipality of Jundiaí, in the interior of the state of São Paulo, from March to November 2021. The place where it was built, now has adequate shade for better development and comfort for the animals that live there.
