Logística humanitária

Abstract

A Logística Humanitária é o ramo da logística que se responsabiliza por todos os processos envolvidos na mobilização de pessoas, recursos e conhecimentos para ajudar pessoas ou comunidades que sofreram impactos de desastres naturais ou danos ocasionados pelo homem. Ele é um tema relativamente novo no Brasil, que tem se desenvolvido ao longo dos últimos anos. Em tais situações de emergência, pessoas, instituições, empresas e até mesmo o próprio governo se mobilizam desde o início da tragédia para levar ajuda ao local, seja em forma de mão de obra voluntária ou suprimentos. Este ramo da logística se diferencia em muitos aspectos de todos os outros, pois o principal objetivo dessa logística é a minimização do sofrimento das pessoas que se encontram em estado vulnerável. As principais prioridades da Logística Humanitária são o fornecimento de alimentos e de água, também a disponibilização de abrigo. A Logística Humanitária é um braço da logística tendo a função de planejar, ter o conhecimento da operação no gerenciamento emergencial e implementar alguns procedimentos necessários para auxiliar a população, administrar os recursos.
