Horta na escola: orientação alimentar desenvolvida através da atividade agrícola

Abstract

Quaisquer intervenções feitas por profissionais da saúde devem levar em conta a adoção de hábitos alimentares saudáveis, estando inseridas em um amplo contexto de promoção de saúde e adaptadas à realidade social infanto-juvenil, atuando, sobretudo no ambiente familiar e escolar. Por outro lado, vale ressaltar a importância dos pais na adoção, ou não, de hábitos saudáveis. Durante o desenvolvimento da criança, a figura materna e paterna é tida como referenciais a serem seguidos e imitados. Assim, escolhas nutricionalmente adequadas serão incorporadas aos comportamentos alimentares futuros da criança se a dieta de seus próprios pais for condizente com aquela que preconizam. O plantio da horta foi realizado no ambiente escolar envolvendo os alunos ajuda, não só na orientação sobre o mal que o uso de agrotóxicos traz para a saúde e para o meio ambiente, como também no conhecimento sobre como as frutas e as hortaliças são desenvolvidas, incentivando á alimentação saudável. O desenvolvimento do trabalho em equipe e a orientação para o público envolvido, incluindo responsáveis dos alunos, professores e funcionários da escola ajudando-os nas atividades em sala de aula sobre o meio ambiente e a importância da alimentação saudável e o incentivo de preparações com alimentos in natura que serão destinados às crianças, podendo criar um hábito alimentar saudável desde a infância. Desenvolver uma horta no ambiente escolar promove o consumo dos alimentos produzidos no plantio, trazendo estímulo à alimentação saudável e a aceitação dos alimentos oferecidos.

Any interventions made by healthcare professionals must take into account the adoption of healthy eating habits, being inserted in a broad context of health promotion and adapted to the social reality of children and youth, acting, especially in the family and school environment. On the other hand, it is worth mentioning the importance of parents in the adoption of healthy habits. During the child's development, the maternal and paternal figure is taken as benchmarks to be followed and imitated. Thus, nutritionally adequate choices will be incorporated into future food behaviors of the child if the diet of your own parents is befitting that we advocate. Planting the garden was performed in the school environment involving students help not only in guidance on the damage that the use of pesticides brings to health and the environment, as well as knowledge about how the fruits and the vegetables are developed, encouraging to healthy eating. The development of teamwork and the orientation to the public involved, including responsible of students, teachers and school staff by helping them in the classroom activities on the environment and the importance of healthy eating and the incentive of preparations with fresh foods that are intended for children and can create a healthy feeding habit since childhood. Develop a vegetable garden in the school environment promotes the consumption of food produced in the planting, bringing stimulating healthy eating and the acceptance of food offered.
