Lorena: tombamento e preservação

Abstract

Preservação do patrimônio nacional é assunto presente em diversas pautas, devido a recentes casos que assolaram partes consideráveis desses legados. Contudo, a perpetuação desses acervos exige um processo delicado e caro que fazem refletir sobre sua relevância social. Existe a burocracia para que seja reconhecido como Patrimônio Nacional, passando pelo tombamento e devidos registros. É importante atentar para o papel da população em resguardar variados patrimônios, não só os históricos que são o foco desta pesquisa. A base será Lorena, interior de São Paulo, onde existem diversos tipos de patrimônios históricos herdados do império, com destaque para Conde Moreira Lima, que financiou obras que estão tombadas pela cidade.

The preservation of the national patrimony is a subject present in several guidelines, due to recent cases that have devastated considerable parts of these legacies. However, the perpetuation of these quantities demands delicate and expensive a process that make to reflect on its social relevance. There is the bureaucracy so that it is recognized as National Patrimony, passing by the listing and proper registers. It is important to pay attention to the role of the population in safeguarding diverse heritage, not only the historical ones that are the focus of this research. The base will be Lorena, in the interior of São Paulo, where there are several types of historical heritage inherited from the empire, especially Conde Moreira Lima, who financed works that are listed by the city.
