Reflexões sobre a adoção no Brasil

Abstract

A palavra “adotar” abriga diversos significados como assumir, reconhecer, acolher, aceitar, entre outros. Um ato lícito de criar um vínculo de filiação, até então inexistente, em que não há laço natural. Mediante a esfera do Judiciário, o adotado passa a possuir os mesmos direitos legal do(s) filho(s) legítimo(s). Partindo do princípio da Constituição Federal de 1988, que prevê que a família é à base das relações entre a sociedade, outrossim, à adoção busca fortalecer os valores sociais e familiares, minimizando a violência do meio social. Quando se compara o número de pessoas com o interesse em adotar, observasse que o número de pretendentes é elevado ao comparar com o tanto de crianças que vivem em abrigo a espera de serem adotados. Sendo assim, a adoção é um dos motivos que leva o amparo de uma criança ou adolescente, gerando oportunidades e espaço no âmbito educacional, cultural, social e familiar.

When we compare the number of people interested in adopting, we observe that the number of suitors is high when compared to the number of children that life expects to be adopted. Thus, it is one of the reasons that leads the shelter of a child or adolescent, generating opportunities and space in the educational, cultural, social and family spheres.
