Qualidade de vida: um estudo sobre os impactos do serviço de transporte público na vida do estudante

Abstract

O artigo apresenta uma análise do sistema de transporte coletivo da metrópole paulista e um estudo sobre a mobilidade urbana na região de Jundiaí para observar a relação com a qualidade de vida. A atual condição precária dos serviços de transporte coletivo afeta a sociedade com o aumento nos gastos com mobilidade e dificultando o acesso à saúde, educação e cultura. O principal objetivo deste material é apresentar como o serviço de transporte público urbano afeta os estudantes universitários, analisando os impactos na sua qualidade de vida que, consequentemente, irá interferir no seu desenvolvimento estudantil e profissional. Para a realização deste artigo, foi utilizado o método qualitativo sendo complementado pela tipologia explicativa e, como ferramenta utilizada na coleta de dados para a realização do estudo, foi realizado um questionário likert “fechado” para poder analisar os impactos destes dados na sociedade, principalmente sobre os estudantes. Com os dados obtidos, é possível identificar como a escolha pelo meio de transporte está diretamente ligada à renda do indivíduo, pois há a eleição mais satisfatória dos meios de transporte com maior qualidade. Observa-se que a omissão do poder público,responsável pela gestão das concessões do transporte público, emnão direcionar osinvestimentos necessários para uma prestação de serviço de transporte adequada leva os cidadãos a optarem cada vez mais por meios de transporte individuais, o que agrava a já deficitária condição de mobilidade, pois são mais veículos, gerando mais congestionamentos, poluição e diminuindo a qualidade de vida dos cidadãos.

The article presents an analysis of the collective transportation system of the metropolis of São Paulo and a study on the urban mobility in the region of Jundiaí to observe the relation with the quality of life. The current precarious condition of collective transportation services affects society by increasing mobility expenses and making access to health, education and culture difficult. The main objective of this material is to present how the urban public transport service affects the university students, analyzing the impacts on its quality of life that, consequently, will interfere in its student and professional development. For the accomplishment of this article, the qualitative method was used, complemented by the explanatory typology and, as a tool used to collect data for the study, a "closed" likert questionnaire was carried out to analyze the impacts of these data on society, mainly about the students. With the obtained data, it is possible to identify how the choice by means of transportation is directly linked to the income of the individual, because there is the most satisfactory choice of means of transport with higher quality. It is noted that the omission of the public authority, responsible for the management of public transport concessions, not to direct the investments necessary for an adequate transport service leads citizens to choose more and more by individual means of transport, which aggravates the already deficient condition of mobility, because there are more vehicles, generating more congestion, pollution and diminishing the quality of life of the citizens
