The general public knows the movie when it is playing on the big screen, and hardly knows what happens until that moment, a lot of work is involved, which happens behind the camera. There is a process to be done to get productions to go as planned within the stipulated time period. The film market, as we know it today, began to consolidate in the mid-twentieth century. Several countries have historically sought to secure a position for their national cinematographs, given the growing importance of audiovisual in the construction of symbolic values and goods and in the generation of commercial currency. And in Brazil, it was no different. Films have gone from still cameras, in black and white, without sound or actors to feature films, overproductions, which need filming in different places and countries, abusing technologies to make every scene as exciting and realistic as possible from every angle possible. Many elements involve structuring a movie until it reaches the theaters, and skilled and qualified professionals are required for each role. Production of a movie starts long before filming begins. It is in production that many professionals and filmmakers involved help make the script come true in every way, financially, artistically and technically, on and off the set. However, in Brazil the production process is not developed in the same way. The reason is often lack of funds, but we cannot always use this justification. This paper aims to present how logistics works in Brazilian film production, identifying its problems. Given these factors, it will be sought to analyze the role of logistics within the production of the film industry through a bibliographical and descriptive research, looking for studies, articles and documents on the subject.
