Esse artigo tem por finalidade descrever um pouco sobre esse avanço da telecomunicação mundial, que já deixou de ser tendência e se tornou uma realidade cada vez mais presente no mundo corporativo, a fim de que esse assunto seja mais entendido e discutido por mais profissionais da área de tecnologia, e também pela sociedade que mesmo sem saber já faz o uso desse tipo de telecomunicação. Faremos um breve relato da sua origem, seu crescimento e evolução, assim como a sua aceitação no mundo dos negócios, demonstrando as suas facilidades e inovação. Listaremos também diversas vantagens que essa nova tecnologia nos proporciona, e as novas tendências para um futuro onde a utilização do VoIP será cada vez mais comum, pois no mundo atual a cada dia a internet se faz mais presente em toda sociedade. Pontuamos também alguns pontos importantes que devem ser ajustados para o seu bom funcionamento. This article aims at describing the advance in global telecommunication a little, which is no longer a trend and has become an increasingly present reality in the corporate world, so that this subject is more understable and discussed by more professionals in the area of technology, and also by society that even without knowing it has already used of this type of telecommunication. We will show a brief report of its origin, its growth and evolution, as well as its acceptance in the business world, demonstrating its facilities and innovation. We will also list several advantages that this new technology gives us, and the new trends for a future where the use of VoIP will be more and more common, because in today's world the internet becomes more present in society. We will also point out some important points that should be adjusted for its proper functioning. This article is not intended to disparage any of the other telecommunications media, nor the professionals, companies and telephone operators that have lived for many years.
