Abstract: O presente trabalho aborda o turismo religioso na cidade de Ouro Preto, destacando sua relevância histórica, cultural e patrimonial para o desenvolvimento do turismo brasileiro. O estudo teve como objetivo elaborar um roteiro turístico voltado à valorização da religiosidade, da arte barroca e da memória histórica presentes no município, proporcionando aos visitantes uma experiência cultural, educativa e imersiva. A metodologia utilizada baseou-se em pesquisa bibliográfica, levantamento de informações turísticas e planejamento de roteiro, contemplando aspectos relacionados à organização da viagem, atrativos turísticos, infraestrutura, custos operacionais e atuação do guia de turismo. Entre os principais resultados, observou-se que a integração entre patrimônio histórico, manifestações religiosas e planejamento turístico contribui para a valorização da identidade cultural local e para o fortalecimento do turismo sustentável e acessível. Conclui-se que Ouro Preto apresenta grande potencial para o desenvolvimento do turismo religioso, oferecendo experiências que unem fé, cultura, história e preservação patrimonial.
This paper discusses religious tourism in Ouro Preto, highlighting its historical, cultural, and heritage relevance for the development of Brazilian tourism. The study aimed to develop a tourist itinerary focused on the appreciation of religiosity, Baroque art, and historical memory present in the city, providing visitors with a cultural, educational, and immersive experience. The methodology was based on bibliographic research, collection of tourism information, and itinerary planning, including aspects related to trip organization, tourist attractions, infrastructure, operational costs, and the role of the tour guide. Among the main results, it was observed that the integration between historical heritage, religious manifestations, and tourism planning contributes to the appreciation of local cultural identity and to the strengthening of sustainable and accessible tourism. It is concluded that Ouro Preto has great potential for the development of religious tourism, offering experiences that combine faith, culture, history, and heritage preservation.
