O uso de esteroides, anabolizantes e androgênicos: suas implicações legais e consequências gerais

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como tema central o uso de esteroides, anabolizantes e androgênicos (EAA); suas implicações legais e consequências gerais. Tendo como objetivo principal analisar legislações vigentes em conjunto a projetos de leis que abordem a proibição da utilização de EAAs dentro da sociedade brasileira, sendo o intuito entender seu funcionamento no organismo, malefícios ao individuo, ao corpo social, em conjunto as formas de fabricação, importação, exportação e, sobretudo, suas implicações legais. A metodologia utilizada teve como objeto de estudo, como o tema é abordado na sociedade e utilizou de pesquisa quantitativa através do google forms. Ao longo do estudo, constatou-se que a busca se dá, majoritariamente, por razões estéticas, causadas pela influência midiática, agravando-se pelo acesso ser facilitado, pois, há pouca regulamentação sobre esses medicamentos em vigor presentes na constituição. Além disso, a utilização de esteroides anabolizantes e androgênicos traz impactos significativos para a sociedade, como o aumento da violência e o incentivo à cultura do doping nas competições esportivas, a medicalização desnecessária e a elevação dos gastos com o sistema de saúde. Um esforço colaborativo é essencial para enfrentar esse problema e promover uma sociedade mais saudável.

The central theme of this work is the use of steroids, anabolic and androgenic steroids (AAS); their legal implications and general consequences. Its main objective is to analyze current legislation together with draft laws that address the prohibition of the use of AAS within Brazilian society, with the aim of understanding their functioning in the body, harm to the individual, to the social body, together with the forms of manuacture, import, export and, above all, their legal implications. The methodology used had as its object of study, how the subject is approached in society and used quantitative research through google forms. Throughout the study, it was found that the search is mostly for aesthetic reasons, caused by media influence, aggravated by easy access, as there is little regulation of these drugs in force in the constitution. In addition, the use of anabolic and androgenic steroids has significant impacts on society, such as increasing violence and encouraging a culture of doping in sports competitions, unnecessary medicalization and increased spending on the health system. A collaborative effort is essential to tackle this problem and promote a healthier society.
