Mobilidade urbana: um estudo de campo sobre o transporte público em uma faculdade da cidade de Mogi das Cruzes - SP

Abstract

No decorrer dos anos, o Brasil passou por grandes alternâncias trazidas pela Revolução Industrial. Com o incentivo do Governo Vargas, na era da industrialização o nosso país foi mudando seu modelo de agrário para o industrial. Nesse ínterim, leis foram surgindo para regularizar o fluxo de pessoas e garantir o mínimo de infraestrutura possível, nos transportes e na qualidade de vida. Nesse pressuposto, esse trabalho evidencia o modelo de mobilidade urbana da cidade de Mogi das Cruzes, iniciando-se pela história, passando pelo funcionamento de seu sistema coletivo, ferroviário e rodoviário. Apontando ainda os seus respectivos acessos, seja municipal ou interestadual, e seus principais terminais e autovias, os quais a cidade tem a seu dispor. Sendo assim, o foco principal desse estudo de campo realizado em uma instituição de ensino superior público da cidade tem o intuito de expor as opiniões dos 219 entrevistados sobre as principais deficiências e possíveis melhorias sobre o transporte público em seu trajeto até a faculdade.

Over the years, Brazil went through major changes brought about by the Industrial Revolution. With the encouragement of the Vargas government, in the era of industrialization, our country started changing its model from agrarian to industrial. In the meantime, laws were emerging to regularize the flow of people and guarantee the least possible infrastructur e, transport and quality of life. In this assumption, this work highlights the model of urban mobility in the city of Mogi das Cruzes, starting with the history and passing through the functioning of its collective, rail and road system. Also pointing o ut their respective accesses, whether municipal or interstate and their main terminals and highways, which the city has at its disposal. Therefore, the main focus of this field study carried out in a public higher education institution in the city is inten ded to expose the opinions of the 219 respondents on the main deficiencies and possible improvements on public transport on their way to college.
