Abstract

Trata-se de resistir às infiltrações e proteger-se contra as intempéries sendo elas a chuva, vento, neve, sol, entre outras. A água é responsável por 85% dos problemas de edificações. A fim de proteger a vida útil das construções e procurando soluções, a proteção das estruturas contra infiltrações se faz necessária em qualquer edificação. Os sistemas impermeabilizantes têm como principal função proteger a edificação, permitindo o aumento da vida útil da construção e garantindo aos usuárics uma melhor qualidade de vida. Tendo em vista a importância da impermeabilização na construção civil, trouxemos uma pesquisa sobre os sistemas impermeabilizantes, seu processo, os tipos, causa mais comum e a aplicação dos tipos de impermeabilização.

It is about resisting infiltrations and protecting oneself against the elements being rain, wind, snow, sun, among others. Water accounts for 85% of building problems. In order to protect the useful life of the constructions and looking for solutions, the protection of the structures is necessary in any way. Waterproofing systems have as main function to protect the building, allowing the increase of the useful life of the construction and guaranteeing the user a better quality of life. Taking into account the importance of waterproofing in civil construction, we have brought a research on the waterproofing systems, their processes, the types, the most common cause and the application of waterproofing types.
