Xenofobia, sua relação com a legislação e meios de combate

Abstract

A xenofobia, é o medo, aversão ou antipatia profunda ao estrangeiro, causando um desconhecimento e desconfiança de estrangeiros, que vem com cultura, hábitos religiões e até mesmo etnia diferentes; é considerada como uma patologia, e também como um problema social atual. A xenofobia é presente em toda a história do mundo; mas não tinha um nome certo, esse nome surge quando a psicologia precisa nomear um transtorno mental, mas em relação ao problema social, é um termo moderno. Como patologia, é manifestada com crises de ansiedade chegando até o nível das crises de pânico, existe atualmente tratamento. Já como problema social, é manifestada por agressões físicas ou verbais, podendo ter diversas causas, como a reafirmação nacionalista, dependendo de como a manifestação de ódio é executada, pode ser considerada como crime. A xenofobia cresce muito mais atualmente por conta de toda a conexão que temos, a chamada globalização. No Brasil, não existe uma lei somente para o crime de xenofobia, mas é apresentada em diversas outras leis como sendo, em algumas leis é considerada também como agravante de pena. O combate da xenofobia começou a ser pensado recentemente, e não obteve muito sucesso, já que a grande maioria dos países busca esse combate por meio de campanhas governamentais, que resolveriam somente a longo prazo.

Xenophobia is present throughout the history of the world; but it didn't have a right name, that name comes when psychology needs to name a mental disorder, but in relation to the social problem, it's a modern term. As pathology, is manifested with anxiety attacks reaching the level of panic attacks, there is currently treatment. As a social problem, it is manifested by physical or verbal aggression, and may have several causes, such as nationalist reaffirmation, depending on how the manifestation of hatred is performed, can be considered as a crime. Xenophobia is growing much more today because of all the connection we have, called globalization. In Brazil, there is not only a law for the crime of xenophobia, but it is presented in several other laws as being, in some laws is also considered as aggravating penalty. The fight against xenophobia has recently started to be considered, and it has not been very successful, as the vast majority of countries seek this fight through government campaigns that would only resolve in the long run.
