Procedimentos de segurança contra incêndio para brigada em supermercado: Public Superatacados

Abstract

Em ambientes com grande circulação de pessoas, como é o caso dos supermercados, a prevenção de acidentes deve estar no centro das prioridades. Dentre os riscos mais preocupantes, o incêndio representa uma ameaça significativa tanto à integridade física de clientes e colaboradores quanto ao patrimônio da empresa. A presença de materiais inflamáveis, a complexidade das instalações elétricas e o fluxo constante de pessoas tornam esse tipo de estabelecimento particularmente sensível a situações de emergência.

This study analyzes the essential procedures for implementing and organ-izing a Fire Brigade in the supermarket Public Superatacados, in accordance with the requirements of ABNT NBR 14276:2020 and other fire safety standards. Supermarkets present significant fire risks due to the storage of combustible ma-terials, constant electrical operation, and high circulation of people. Through a technical visit, a normative checklist, and a comparison between legal require-ments and on-site conditions, the research identified both conformities and critical nonconformities, such as the absence of emergency routes, inadequate signage, and the lack of a visible brigade structure. The study proposes corrective measures including the implementation of properly signaled evacuation routes, an updated emergency plan, structured brigade organization, and improved train-ing. The results highlight the importance of integrating preventive actions, emer-gency planning, and qualified brigade training to strengthen workplace safety and ensure full compliance with fire protection regulations.
