Pesquisa de demanda turística na cidade de São Roque - SP

Abstract

O município da Estância turística de São Roque, situada a 62 km da Capital São Paulo e uma população de pouco mais de 80 mil habitantes, tem atraído cada vez mais turistas de todas as partes e principalmente da capital dada pela sua proximidade. Apesar da maioria dos visitantes da referida localidade consistirem em “turismo de bate e volta”, excursionistas segunda definição da OMT, ou seja, não pernoitam no município, o turismo de hospedagem vem crescendo junto com esse desenvolvimento vivido nos últimos anos. O presente trabalho trata-se de aplicação de pesquisas a estabelecimentos de hospedagem, para identificar as motivações que trazem o turista ao município. Com objetivos de estudar esse nicho de mercado, através da obtenção de dados ainda não aferidos, e como desdobramento o estudo e análise desses dados. Acreditando que com as informações em mãos, tanto o setor de hospedagem como o poder público, poderão se beneficiar fomentando o turismo no município, ainda gerando renda e empregos à população. Os resultados apresentados no trabalho carecem de maiores precisões, já que a adesão à pesquisa foi de apenas 30%. Como considerações finais foi observado que a pesquisa é uma importante ferramenta, porém é uma instituição que necessita de desenvolvimento e participação maciça dos estabelecimentos de hospedagem, setores acadêmicos, públicos e setores afins.

The present work deals with the application of surveys to lodging establishments, to identify the motivations that bring the tourist to the municipality. With the objective of studying this market niche, by obtaining data that have not yet been verified, and as a result of the study and analysis of these data. Believing that with the information in hand, both the lodging sector and the public power, could benefit by fomenting the tourism in the municipality, still generating income and jobs to the population. The results presented in the study need to be further clarified, since the adherence to the survey was only 30%. As final considerations, it was observed that the research is an important tool, but it is an institution that needs development and massive participation of the lodging establishments, academic sectors, public and similar sectors.
