Modal ferroviário conectado ao turismo

Abstract

O ser humano sempre buscou formas que facilitasse suas atividades cotidianas e sua locomoção. Com isso, ocorreram muitas mudanças e inovações no decorrer da história, uma delas é a elaboração das ferrovias, que foi criada com o intuito de facilitar o transporte de cargas longas, pesadas e em grandes quantidades. Inicialmente, os vagões eram puxados por animais, porém esses, foram substituídos por locomotivas, após a criação das rodas. No Brasil, foi a partir de 1835 que houve o desenvolvimento do primeiro projeto das ferrovias, porém, a primeira ferrovia só foi inaugurada em 1854, que ficou conhecida como Estrada de Ferro de Dom Pedro II. A criação das ferrovias está diretamente ligada com a economia do país, pois ela proporcionou a exportação e a comercialização de muitos produtos fabricados. E assim, com o passar do tempo, o modal ferroviário foi ramificado e passou a transportar passageiros, entre eles, os turistas que provinham de outras regiões em busca de belas paisagens, experiências positivas, troca de conhecimento cultural e reviver o passado. Para conseguir preservar as ferrovias antigas e que possuem um valor histórico, houve a criação das “ferrovias turísticas”. Ao viajar em trens turísticos, o viajante consegue ter acesso a uma extrema possibilidade de troca de conhecimento cultural e uma incrível sensação nostálgica, pois permite o reencontro com as raízes históricas de seus antepassados. Além do lazer educacional, os trens turísticos atuam no crescimento da região de sua instalação, pois promove a geração de empregos e renda, diminui a ociosidade dos trechos das ferrovias e promove a ligação entre regiões. Sendo assim, esse trabalho tem como objetivo mostrar a conexão do turismo com a malha ferroviária, além de comparar o modal rodoviário com o ferroviário, levando em consideração toda a trajetória histórica. Com isso, foram realizadas pesquisas relacionadas a utilização dos trens turísticos brasileiros, os investimentos realizados, os problemas enfrentados pela malha e os motivos que levam uma pessoa a realizar uma viagem através dos trens turísticos.

As a result, there have been many changes and innovations throughout history, one of which is the development of railroads, which was created with the aim of facilitating the transport of long, heavy, and large loads. Initially, the wagons were pulled by animals, but these were replaced by locomotives after the wheels were created. In Brazil, it was from 1835 that the first railway project was developed, however, the first railway was only opened in 1854, which became known as the Railway of Dom Pedro II. The creation of the railways is directly linked to the country's economy, as it provided for the export and sale of many manufactured products. And so, over time, the railway modal was branched out and started to transport passengers, among them, tourists who came from other regions in search of beautiful landscapes, positive experiences, exchange of cultural knowledge and reliving the past. To preserve the old railroads, which have historical value, “tourist railways” were created. When traveling on tourist trains, the traveler can access an extreme possibility of exchanging cultural knowledge and an incredible nostalgic feeling, as it allows them to reconnect with the historical roots of their ancestors. In addition to educational leisure, the tourist trains operate in the growth of the region of their installation, as it promotes the generation of jobs and income, reduces the idleness of the sections of the railways and promotes the connection between regions. Therefore, this work aims to show the connection between tourism and the railway network, in addition to comparing the road with the railroad, considering the entire historical trajectory. With this, research was carried out related to the use of Brazilian tourist trains, the investments made, the problems faced by the network and the reasons that lead a person to make a trip using the tourist trains
