Fascínios boêmios: análise da sensualidade e da expressão feminina inspirados no musical Moulin Rouge

Abstract

Esse trabalho examina a construção da imagem das mulheres ao decorrer do século XIX até o século XX, através da análise do musical “Moulin Rouge” (2001). O objetivo principal é compreender o contexto histórico do período e como a limitação da liberdade das mulheres favoreceu para a criação de sociedades sexistas, sustentando a ideia de que o papel das mulheres dentro da sociedade era de submissão. Através de uma pesquisa de caráter qualitativo e bibliográfico, utilizando da análise de materiais já divulgados, como livros, artigos científicos, fontes digitais, teses e dissertações. Foram desenvolvidos em primeiro plano, com mapa mental e conceitual que permitiu visualizar e relacionar o musical com a moda, e as questões sociais que envolvem a construção da liberdade feminina. Conclui-se que a liberdade das mulheres dependeu, durante um longo período, da maneira como as sociedades ás enxergavam.

This work examines the construction of the image of women throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, through an analysis of the musical “Moulin Rouge” (2001). The main objective is to understand the historical context of the period and how the limitation of women's freedom favored the creation of sexist societies, sustaining the idea that the role of women within society was one of submission. Through qualitative and bibliographic research, using the analysis of previously published materials, such as books, scientific articles, digital sources, theses, and dissertations. They were developed in the foreground, with a mental and conceptual map that allowed us to visualize and relate the musical to fashion and the social issues surrounding the construction of women's freedom. It is concluded that women's freedom depended, for a long period, on the way societies viewed them.
