O papel da administração em relação a infraestrutura dos hospitais públicos situados na Grande São Paulo

Abstract

O presente trabalho busca compreender e coletar dados sobre o papel da administração em relação à infraestrutura dos hospitais públicos situados na Grande São Paulo. Dessa forma, o objetivo é analisar se os hospitais públicos localizados nessa região possuem infraestrutura suficiente para atender à demanda da população. Utilizando o método dedutivo, aliado à abordagem qualitativa, por meio de entrevistas com a população e profissionais vinculados às instituições públicas de saúde, bem como pela aplicação de questionários, a pesquisa procura responder ao problema proposto: "Os hospitais públicos situados na Grande São Paulo possuem infraestrutura suficiente para atender à demanda da população?". Com os resultados obtidos, evidencia-se a insatisfação da população diante do cenário dos problemas hospitalares, indicando que não há infraestrutura suficiente para atender à demanda social, além da falta de investimentos financeiros e da má distribuição de recursos destinados às instituições de saúde em diferentes regiões. Assim, o objetivo do trabalho é atingido, e a resposta ao problema de pesquisa torna-se evidente: é necessário dedicar maior atenção ao setor de saúde pública da Grande São Paulo, uma vez que os recursos disponíveis são insuficientes para garantir um atendimento digno e eficiente à população.

This study aims to understand and collect data on the role of administration in relation to the infrastructure of public hospitals located in the Greater São Paulo area. Accordingly, the objective is to analyze whether these public hospitals possess adequate infrastructure to meet the population's demand. Using the deductive method, combined with a qualitative approach through interviews with the population and professionals linked to public health institutions, as well as the application of questionnaires, the research seeks to answer the following question: "Do public hospitals located in the Greater São Paulo area have sufficient infrastructure to meet the population's demand?" The results obtained reveal widespread dissatisfaction among the population regarding the current state of hospital conditions, indicating that the infrastructure is inadequate to meet social demand, in addition to a lack of financial investment and an unequal distribution of resources allocated to health institutions in different regions. Thus, the objective of the study is achieved, and the answer to the research problem becomes evident: greater attention must be devoted to the public health sector in Greater São Paulo, as the available resources are insufficient to ensure dignified and efficient care for the population.
