Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar uma análise e algumas sugestões em nível preliminar para a questão dos estacionamentos na área do Colégio Agrícola de Presidente Prudente. Com o passar dos anos, as transformações no uso e ocupação do território do colégio não foram acompanhadas pelas necessárias mudanças no sistema de transportes. Trata-se de um estudo de caso, onde são revelados os problemas na escassez de espaços destinados ao estacionamento de veículos particulares e de serviços, ocasionando dificuldades no trânsito. A metodologia utilizada define um arranjo de conceitos extraídos de levantamentos topográficos. Para o exame da área em estudo e as respectivas propostas, foi elaborado um mapa esquemático levantado a partir de pesquisa de campo, onde se buscou caracterizar os tipos de estacionamentos presentes e que melhor se adéqua a esta situação. Por meio desse levantamento, foi possível criar um segundo mapa apresentando sugestões capazes de otimizar a escassez de vagas no local. Os resultados desse trabalho revelam que são necessários a introdução e o aproveitamento de espaços.

The present work aims to present an analysis and some preliminary suggestions regarding the issue of parking in the area of the Agricultural School of Presidente Prudente. Over the years, the changes in the use and occupation of the school’s territory have not been accompanied by the necessary changes in the transportation system. This is a case study, in which the problems related to the scarcity of spaces designated for the parking of private and service vehicles are revealed, causing traffic difficulties. The methodology used defines an arrangement of concepts extracted from topographic surveys. For the examination of the study area and the respective proposals, a schematic map was prepared based on field research, which aimed to characterize the types of parking present and which best suit this situation. Through this survey, it was possible to create a second map presenting suggestions capable of optimizing the shortage of spaces at the site. The results of this work reveal that the introduction and utilization of spaces are necessary.
