Abstract

O presente trabalho analisa as dificuldades que os trabalhadores enfrentam para compreender a folha de pagamento e como essa falta de entendimento influencia a percepção de seus direitos e deveres trabalhistas. A pesquisa explica os principais elementos da folha, como proventos, descontos, benefícios, encargos e adicionais, e mostra que a linguagem técnica, os cálculos complexos e a falta de clareza são os maiores obstáculos identificados pelos colaboradores. Para investigar o problema, foram utilizados pesquisa bibliográfica e um questionário aplicado a 81 participantes, revelando que, embora muitos entendam parte dos itens da folha, ainda há dúvidas significativas que levam alguns a nem conferir seu demonstrativo. Os resultados evidenciam que a simplificação da linguagem, o uso de explicações claras e ferramentas digitais podem facilitar a compreensão. Conclui-se que a clareza das informações, aliada à atuação orientadora do profissional de contabilidade, é fundamental para promover transparência, minimizar erros, fortalecer a relação de confiança e assegurar que os colaboradores compreendam plenamente seus direitos e responsabilidades no âmbito trabalhista.

This final paper analyzes the difficulties workers face in understanding their pay slips and how this lack of comprehension influences their perception of labor rights and obligations. The research explains the main components of the pay slip — such as earnings, deductions, benefits, charges, and additional payments — and shows that technical language, complex calculations, and a lack of clarity are the greatest obstacles identified by employees. To investigate the problem, a bibliographic review and a questionnaire applied to 81 participants were used, revealing that although many workers understand part of the items on the pay slip, significant doubts persist, leading some individuals to not even review their statements. The results indicate that simplifying the language, providing clear explanations, and using digital tools can facilitate understanding. It is concluded that the clarity of information, combined with the guiding role of accounting professionals, is essential to promote transparency, minimize errors, strengthen trust, and ensure that employees fully understand their rights and responsibilities in the labor context.
