Guia rápido de teste de software

Abstract

Este trabalho propõe a criação de um guia rápido de teste de software, destinado aos profissionais, professores, estudantes e demais pessoas interessadas em aprender mais sobre essa área do conhecimento. O trabalho pretende apresentar e orientar o melhor caminho a ser seguido na elaboração e execução dos testes, visando eficiência, exatidão, segurança, rapidez e redução de custos adicionais derivados de defeitos e falhas. O trabalho pretende ainda estabelecer a ligação dos testes de softwares à qualidade do produto final, abrangendo desde o início dos testes, as técnicas utilizadas em sua execução e os benefícios para as empresas que adotam os testes no seu cotidiano. Após verificar que em algumas empresas, principalmente as micros e pequenas, que há uma lacuna referente à quais testes devem ser aplicados, foram identificados durante a pesquisa que existe uma grande vantagem em utilizar um guia de rápida visualização das tarefas, mostrando um caminho a ser seguido na execução de teste, cuja importância é fundamental para a qualidade do software, diminuindo os erros e defeitos que contribuam para o aumento de sua credibilidade. Para o desenvolvimento deste guia, foram pesquisadas várias ferramentas e verificou-se que a melhor que se adequava ao projeto foi a ferramenta TestLink, que além de ser de fácil utilização, é gratuita (open source) e ainda com larga adequação ao projeto de um software construído por micro e pequenas empresas.

This paper proposes the creation of a short guide to software testing, for practitioners, teachers, students and other people interested in learning more about this area of knowledge. The paper intends to present and guide through the best way forward in the development and execution of the tests, aiming at efficiency, accuracy, security, speed and reduction of additional costs motivated by defects and failures. The paper also points match software tests and the quality of the final product, ranging from the early tests, the techniques used in its execution and benefits for companies that adopt the tests in their daily lives. After verifying that in some companies, especially the micro and small, was found there is a gap related to what tests should be applied, they have been identified during the survey that there is a great advantage to use a Quick View tab of tasks, showing a path to followed in the test run, whose importance is fundamental to software quality, reducing errors and failures that contribute to the increase of its credibility. To develop this guide, we were surveyed several tools and found out that the best choice for the project was TestLink tool, which besides being easy to use, is free (open source) and with wide adaptation to the design of a software built by micro and small businesses
