Estudo de acessibilidade do Talkback para deficientes visuais

Abstract

A utilização de tablets por deficientes visuais está se tornando cada vez mais usual, pelo fato de estar sendo desenvolvidas ferramentas que propiciam a acessibilidade. O Talkback é uma ferramenta mobile que proporciona a inclusão digital para deficientes visuais, ela está disponível no sistema operacional Android e serviu como instrumento para esse estudo. Para analisar como é a realidade de um deficiente visual utilizando um tablet, foram realizadas entrevistas que incluíam tarefas a serem executadas no dispositivo e observação sobre o comportamento dos entrevistados. Por fim, foi feita um balanço dos resultados obtidos e apresentadas considerações e observações sobre essa pesquisa avaliando a utilização do Talkback.

The use of tablets by the visually impaired is becoming increasingly common, by the fact of being developed tools that provide accessibility. The Talkback is a mobile tool that provides digital inclusion, it is available on the Android operating system and was instrumental in this study. To analyze how the reality of a visually impaired using a tablet, interviews were conducted which included tasks to be performed on the device and observing the behavior of those interviewed. Finally, it made na assessment of the results obtained and the considerations and observations on this research evaluating the use of Talkback.
