Revisão de literatura sobre o ensino gratuito e on-line de língua inglesa em tempos de pandemia da Covid-19 (2020-2021)

Abstract

A pandemia de COVID-19, que teve início no final de 2019, trouxe diferentes desafios para a educação em todo o mundo. Com escolas e universidades fechando suas portas para evitar a propagação do vírus, o ensino a distância foi a norma determinada pela Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS). Esta revisão literária busca analisar o impacto do ensino e aprendizado gratuito de língua inglesa durante o período da pandemia, nos anos de 2020 e 2021, investigar as possibilidades e os desafios do ensino de língua inglesa nas modalidades oral e escrita em um ambiente virtual de aprendizagem e a eficácia do ensino on-line, as ferramentas e plataformas utilizadas.

The COVID-19 pandemic, which began at the end of 2019, brought different challenges to education around the world. With schools and universities closing their doors to prevent the spread of the virus, distance learning was the norm determined by the World Health Organization (WHO). This literary review seeks to analyze the impact of free English language teaching and learning during the pandemic period, in the years 2020 and 2021, investigate the possibilities and challenges of teaching English in oral and written modalities in a virtual learning environment and the effectiveness of online teaching, the tools and platforms used.
