O impacto do filme “Mulher Maravilha” (2017) na disseminação do empoderamento feminino contemporâneo

Abstract

A presente dissertação tem como objetivo investigar a relação entre o feminismo e a personagem fictícia Mulher Maravilha com base na obra cinematográfica da Mulher Maravilha no ano de 2017, analisando como a personagem teve seu impacto e sua importância para o movimento feminista ao longo dos anos. O recorte para pesquisa se inicia com o movimento feminista nos anos 1960 até os anos 1980 e se encerra com a versão cinematográfica da personagem em 2017. A pesquisa busca, ainda, a construção de uma discussão teórica entre feminismo e a Mulher Maravilha no contexto histórico, além do estabelecimento das características das mulheres em relação ao reconhecimento na sociedade. Como metodologia, este Trabalho de Graduação conta com a análise de conteúdo, de Laurence Bardin (2011), realizada em seis episódios do grupo, cuja temática central era o cenário feminista, que tenham sido produzidos dentro do período determinado. Para que fosse possível um melhor desdobramento dos assuntos tratados, esta pesquisa foi dividida em quatro capítulos, focando no desenvolvimento teórico, construção de conjuntura e análises.

This dissertation aims to investigate the relationship between feminism and the fictional character Wonder Woman based on the cinematic work of Wonder Woman in the year 2017, analyzing how the character has had its impact and its importance to the feminist movement over the years. The research cut starts with the feminist movement in the 1960s through the 1980s and ends with the film version of the character in 2017. The research also seeks to build a theoretical discussion between feminism and Wonder Woman in the historical context, in addition to establishing the characteristics of women in relation to recognition in society. As methodology, this dissertation relies on content analysis, by Laurence Bardin (2011), performed on six episodes of the group whose central theme was the feminist scene and that have been produced within the given period. In order to allow a better unfolding of the issues addressed, this research was divided into four chapters, focusing on theoretical development, construction of conjuncture, and analyses.
